BookTok has taken over my life and I'm okay with that

I was an avid reader as a child and in the past year and a half I have gotten much more into reading. I started this journey of reading back in April of 2022 and it all started with the Bridgerton series. A year and a half later, I have really widened my range of genres I like to read. I have since branched out to suspense/thrillers on top of the romance (which has many subgenres that would take forever to list out).

When the end of last year came rolling around, I had read 53 books. The reading goal I had set on GoodReads had been 30. I was shocked I read so many books since it honestly didn’t feel like I had. Now it’s October more than a year later and my reading goal on GoodReads started at 50 which then jumped to 100 and now is currently sitting at 125… and I am 10 books away from hitting that goal. And I know. That is quite the jump from the previous years 53 books having been read. I went down the booktok wormhole badly and I am okay with that. Hahah, but to be honest it has over 1000+ videos/slides saved in the collection I made on my TikTok called booktok (not very original but I just needed a name) and I have read probably a handful of them. With my site, I plan to start reviewing the ones I read. Hope you enjoy!
